3 Ways to Keep Your Commitment To Yourself

Our internal relationship is the material that we use to create our reality.  If you are experiencing “commitment issues” in your outer world, the place to look to transform that is in your inner world.

1. Make the Choice

Sometimes we are afraid to make a choice so we sit on the fence and wait for a sign from the Divine.  The problem here is that most of the time we are in fear, so we can’t “see” or “hear” the sign from the Divine.  Start with the commitment to yourself.  To listen to yourself, to love yourself, and to be aware.

2. It’s Not You, It’s Me

Every situation is an opportunity for you to become closer to the Divine.  Every situation is an opportunity for you to become more aware and closer to the Divine inside of you.  In difficult situations this can be a tough ideal to ingest. What is holding you back from accepting these two facts? That’s where the growth is located.

3. I’m So Mad I Could Bark

Anger is a major indication that I’m in fear. It is a way of me “doing something” about the fear without really “doing something” about the fear.  A long time ago, I made the commitment to release the deep anger inside of me and to love myself.  Do I get mad? Of course I do.  Does it last for days?  No!  When I notice an emotion that is conditional in nature, I pause and renew my commitment to loving myself.
