I’m going to say something really controversial, so be prepared. My eyes begin to roll when I hear someone talking about how all they want is to be is of service. Why? Because that’s bull____!
Stop deceiving yourself. You want to receive. You need to receive. It completes the circle and it let’s others give. I’m not talking about not being of service at all, I’m talking about expanding that vision of being of service to include you.
Allow yourself to be nurtured and cared for. Also, it is important that you request and receive the way that sings to your Soul, because you and I are not going to ask for the same things in the same way. Why not? Our Souls are different, and you need different resources than I do (though sometimes we will overlap).
So how do you expand on service to include you? Start with this exercise and see where that takes you and your receiving.
Take a deep breath and allow your awareness to come to your tailbone. This gives your mind something to focus on so the spirit can steer the ship. Set the intention to connect with your Axiom of Quest (your mission Language). If you Axiom of Quest hasn’t been identified yet, ask Divine Intelligence to connect with that part of your Soul and trust that this will happen for you. Here comes the conversation starter between you and your Soul:
Starter request: “Show me in my body the benefits of receiving.”
It is my suggestion that you allow yourself to feel this feeling at least once a day . This will create a beacon inside of you to tell the Universe, “hey, I’m ready to receive.”
Also, you might want to set the intention to you notice when you are being totally in service (which means service to yourself and the rest of the world). When you notice that, just bring yourself back to the feeling of receiving.
