Happy New Year! This year for me is all about embracing my femininity and accepting love.
On Saturday, I had breakfast with a friend of mine. He made a joke that he wanted to be a woman. I commented that he made a good man and his comment back was, “Yeah, because I have a lot of woman in me.” It’s true. Femininity energy is about receiving and acceptance. Right, now he’s embracing that fully. Since that is my strategy for the new year, I’m enjoying the time we spend together.
3 Ways To Be L.O.V.E.D.
In order to be l.o.v.e.d. you MUST know how to receive. Most of us have a hard time receiving love, and yet most of us desire to be loved.
As you know, my Graceful Warrior Soul Language can kick up a fuse when it comes to receiving. Here’s how it sounds in my head (please use a manly, fierce voice): “You are strong, you are capable, and you do not need anyone.”
Now, I laugh at this thought. Of course, I need help. Of course, I desire love. In desiring these things and accepting them, I’m stronger than I was before. Interested in being stronger? Try the 3 Ways to Be l.o.v.e.d.
1. Fill Up — Each morning before you start your day, take a minute and ask yourself where you don’t feel love for yourself. Maybe it is your stomach or maybe your feet. Once you have received the answer. Simply say to that part of you, “I love you” and then smile. In doing this exercise you are learning to receive the love you deserve.
2. Set the Intention — Before you start your day, set the intention to witness all that you are being given. Each time you notice someone giving you something, say this statement silently, “I receive joyful.” This will allow you to increase your ability to receive.
3. Accept the Hug — How do you hug? Do you hang back? Do you fully embrace? Are you the hugger or the huggie? Today, you get to be hugged. The next time someone hugs you, fully receive the hug. Settle in and enjoy it!
