Are you running on empty? At the end of the day are you not sure what you accomplished? Does it feel as if you are doing and doing and not getting what you want? Are you denying the obvious?
The obvious that you are choosing an action just for the sake of action. Where is your time for regeneration? When do you make time to integrate what you have learned into the incubation of your next creative masterpiece?
TRUST me, if you allow yourself your own creative flow, you will not miss out on any opportunities. In fact, the opposite will happen: you will give the Universe the time it needs to bring you what you desire.
Trying to control the Universe does not help you achieve your goals. This Language Tip is inspired by the creative flow.
Stop doing for the sake of getting things done. Before you take action, run through the following checklist to see whether you are taking action that is in alignment with your Soul.
1. Does The Action Make You Feel Good?
Before you take a step, check in with your heart. Does your heart feel like singing, or is it hard to breathe? If pain is filling your chest, it is a safe bet to say that that step would be an action for action’s sake.
2. What’s The Motivation Behind The Action?
Take a moment to check in with yourself and understand what the driving force behind the action is. Is it fear? Is it the need to please people? Is it because you KNOW that this is the right move? Start to understand what is propelling you forward in your actions.
3. Who’s Driving The Action?
Often we are choose an action on someone else’s advice or insistence. You don’t have to do it the way everyone else does. Are you a big part of the action you are taking, or do you feel like you have little say in the matter? It is my suggestion (and of course you can take it or leave it) that if you are living your life by jury, stop!
